Gentlemen,
 
My name is Michael Clary and I am new to SPB Classics this season.  I come 
to you today to announce my intensions to trade Honus Wagner and/or Nap 
Lajoie.  But I offer this warning to prospective suitors, the price will 
be high.  I’m not looking to get a handful of magic beans in return.
 
How do I expect to better the expansion Fresno Bees by trading the best 
shortstop and/or one of the best second baseman in the league?  By getting
 multiple superstars in return.  I’m looking for a 3-for-1 deal, at a 
minimum.  For my stud (plus two duds), I’m looking for three superstars, 
not necessarily of the same caliber of a Wagner/Lajoie, but superstars nonetheless.  
 
There is a method to my madness (believe it or not).  Looking at the website, 
I saw that the then Havana Sugar Kings finished dead last in the AL West, 
15 games back of the front running Colonels.  I don’t believe I overcame 
this deficit through the draft.  I still need more frontline players and 
I’m looking to gain those players by moving one or more of the league’s 
dominant players.
